The craft beer craze is sweeping Michigan at a speedy pace. Rather than motor around “The Mitten” to hit all the popular breweries, beer lovers can attend the Charlevoix Craft Beer Festival on June 13, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Here, various beer styles ranging from lagers to IPAs, and from sour beers to stouts (and more), enjoyed with local food, and live entertainment. Moreover, his annual event takes place in downtown Charlevoix on the second Saturday of every June at a stunning waterside venue ideal for creating that perfect ambiance to enjoy with friends and family.

Participants can also choose to run a half-marathon or the 5K. There are also awards and medals that are given out at a ceremony after the race.

It doesn’t matter if visitors want to run the race or cheer on the athletes. The Charlevoix Marathon is a great way to meet new people and have a lot of fun. If you run the marathon, we also recommend that you stay for the post-race food. Also, don’t forget to buy a marathon t-shirt!

Charlevoix Summer Merchant Open House

However, the open house consists of participating shops and restaurants opening their doors to visitors in which they offer special deals, snacks, refreshments, prize drawings, and more. Enjoy Free Summertime Music at Live on the Lake

When it comes to annual events in the Summertime, many people look forward to Living on the Lake–a free music festival that takes place on Thursdays boasting a number of bands, representing various styles of music. Perfect for families and groups of friends, this music festival is free and opens on June 25 in which the country music band Stone opens, and concludes on August 20 with folk/pop singer Matt Gabriel.

In between the opening and closing dates, music fans can choose from a variety of concert dates to hear reggae, alternative rock, jazz, blues, traditional rock, and chill folk music. In addition, we recommend picking up some delicious local food from one of many restaurants to create an ideal picnic setting as you enjoy the musical stylings alongside the pristine lake. This way, all the senses are delighted!

Fall Events Begin with the Boyne City Hall Harvest Festival

Active senior couple on a walk on a beautiful fall day

Boyne City Hall is about 17 miles from Charlevoix. The Boyne City Hall Harvest Festival is a popular place for people who stay with us at the start of the fall season to go. Charlevoix, Michigan, also lists this event as one of its “seasonal events.” This is because visitors love to drive along US-31 on the beautiful banks of Horton Bay. A lot of people who go on this drive enjoy the beautiful fall colors of crimson, bronze, and gold that cover the trees in this area of the country. They stop to take a picture with their families on the shore.

A visitor to the harvest festival can do a lot of fun things for kids and listen to music. They can also make crafts, buy local fall produce, and do a lot of other things. It also has a farmers market on Water and Lake streets where visitors can buy apples from local farmers, as well as pumpkins and other fall vegetables. Theis markets opens to tourists. Also, they can buy apple butter, honey, cinnamon, and cider, as well as all of these other things.

Visitors from Charlevoix can bring back any food they bought from more than 30 arts and crafts vendors at the festival. The Pointes North Inn is a good place for them to stay. Their food can also be frozen until they are ready to go home.

A Harvest Festival is being held in Boyne City Hall from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on September 26th. Tourists can enjoy their drive back to Charlevoix before the sun sets at 7:30 PM thanks to this.
